A faster, more stable core with a smoother Inbox, stronger calling, and more reliable workflows.

February was a stability + speed month. We closed a huge volume of Engineering tickets across Inbox, Calls, Lists, Blasts, Automations, Contacts, and Pipelines. The theme was simple: make the core experience faster, more predictable, and more trustworthy.

1. Inbox: Speed + Consistency Upgrades

Core Performance Improvements

Implemented “Latest Conversation Wins” to prevent stale background responses from overwriting the current UI
Reduced hardcoded async delays in LiveView
Began loading conversation data independently instead of fetching everything on every click
Cached latest 30 conversations per location
Synced conversation cache across multi-node servers

Impact:
Less flicker. Fewer blank panels. Faster switching. More deterministic behavior at scale.

Major Inbox Reliability Fixes

Blank message panel when opening new conversations
Composer not appearing after claiming from AI filter
Arrow navigation freezing Inbox
Red Inbox icon triggering infinite reload
Delivery status not updating until refresh
“START” confirmation not unlocking composer
Clearing search dropping filters while UI still showed them applied
Notification icon failing to turn red
Image modal closing when new message arrives
Messages appearing in preview but not in the message panel
Scroll jumping when sidebar or profile loads
Green bar position lost when navigating older conversations

Impact:
Fewer confusing or inconsistent Inbox states.

2. Calling: Stabilized

We fixed several high-impact call issues:

Calls dropping when navigating between pages
Incoming call interference edge cases
SMS delivery status inconsistencies in reporting

Impact:
More reliable call experience with fewer interruptions.

3. Automations: Character Limits & UX Cleanup

Removed character limits. No more 240-character truncation in automation instructions
Fixed Automations page behavior where expanding Instructions caused UI resets
Fixed Booking Confirmation configuration randomly resetting values

4. Personalization Tokens for Booking Confirmations

We shipped new merge fields for Booking Confirmation automations:

5. Lists & Contacts Stability

Fixed inability to remove contacts from static lists (Hot List issue)
Fixed Create New List failing or stalling beyond 1,000 contacts
Fixed “Last Updated” timestamp not refreshing correctly
Fixed Contacts pagination crash (Honeybadger)
Fixed header search mismatch vs Contacts page
Fixed Super Admin Contacts resetting to incorrect team after inactivity
Improved sidebar Lists refresh behavior and UI polish

6. Blasts & Email Fixes

Fixed Email Blast creation flow getting stuck
Fixed duplicate threads from blast replies due to phone formatting
Fixed Gmail auto-linking task descriptions into URLs
Fixed emails overflowing message panel
Cleaned up Blasts page copy

7. Pipelines & Settings Fixes

Fixed pipeline stages not appearing until toggled
Fixed “Apply to all” freezing Pipeline Settings
Fixed handoff alert misrouting
Added safeguard for Leads Intro stage when Mindbody returned malformed responses
