Overview
Every blast you send gets its own report. Open it to see how many people received the campaign, how many opened and clicked it, and how many messages ran into a problem. Those numbers are how you tune your subject lines, your offers, and your send times against what actually happened.
Where to Find Your Blast Analytics
- From the left sidebar, click Blasts.
- Find your campaign in the list. Each row shows the campaign name, its status, the type (EMAIL or SMS), the location it sent from, and the date and time it went out. Use the Search campaigns box if you have a long history.
- Click the campaign name to open its report. An email report shows a preview of the email above the numbers.
- Click Close when you're done. To pull the list of people a campaign went to, click the download icon in the Recipients column.
Email Blast Metrics
- Sending. Messages still on their way out. This settles at 0 once the campaign finishes.
- Sent. How many emails Healthdesk handed off for delivery.
- Delivered. How many reached the recipient's inbox provider.
- Opens. How many recipients opened the email, shown as a count and a percentage.
- Clicks. How many recipients clicked a link in your email. Clicks are counted once per recipient, so one person clicking the same button three times counts once.
- Bounces. How many emails came back undelivered from the recipient's mail provider. A climbing bounce count usually points at old addresses on your list.
- Failed. Messages that could not be sent at all.
- Unsubscribes. How many recipients used the unsubscribe link in that campaign. They are excluded from every future Email Blast automatically.
- Spam Reports. How many recipients marked the email as spam. Treat each one as a hard opt-out and stop emailing that address.
SMS Blast Metrics
- Sending. Texts still on their way out.
- Sent. How many texts Healthdesk handed off for delivery.
- Delivered. How many reached the recipient's carrier.
- Undelivered. How many were sent and never reached the recipient's device, for example a phone that is off, a number that blocks business messages, or a message the carrier filtered.
- Failed. Texts that could not be sent at all, usually because of an invalid or badly formatted number.

What to Do With the Numbers
- Opens look low. Try a shorter, more specific subject line, and send when your clients are awake and free. If opens are low across every campaign, your sender reputation may need work. See Your 4-Week Domain Warm-Up Plan.
- Opens look healthy and clicks look low. Your subject line is doing its job, so the offer inside the email is the part to rework. Lead with one clear action and one link.
- Bounces are climbing. Your list has gone stale. Clean out addresses that keep bouncing and focus your next few sends on contacts who have engaged recently.
- Unsubscribes or spam reports are climbing. Look at frequency and relevance. Sending a smaller, better matched list usually beats sending everyone the same thing. See How to Create and Use Contact Lists in HealthdeskAI.
- Undelivered is high on an SMS blast. Check that the numbers on the list are mobile numbers in good shape, then read the delivery-status article above for the carrier-side reasons.
Pro Tip
Watch the trend across your own last few campaigns. Your list, your offers, and your clients are what move these numbers, so your own history is the most useful yardstick you have.
FAQs
Q: Where do I see the results of a blast I already sent?A: Click Blasts in the left sidebar, then click the campaign name. The report opens with that campaign's numbers.
Q: Are clicks counted once per person?A: Yes. Clicks are unique, so a recipient who clicks the same link several times counts once.
Q: What is the difference between Bounces and Failed?A: A bounce means the email went out and the recipient's mail provider sent it back. A failure means the message could not be sent from Healthdesk in the first place, usually because of a bad address or number.
Q: Why does an SMS blast show Undelivered?A: The text was sent successfully and never reached the device. The phone may be off or unreachable, the number may block business messages, or the carrier may have filtered the message. See Understanding Message Delivery Statuses in HealthdeskAI.
Q: Can I see exactly who a campaign went to?A: Yes. Click the download icon in the Recipients column on the Blasts page to download that campaign's recipient list.
Q: Do unsubscribes and spam reports affect future blasts?A: Yes. Anyone who unsubscribes is left out of future blasts automatically. Treat a spam report the same way and stop emailing that address. See How Unsubscribes and STOP Replies Work in HealthdeskAI.
