Overview
Email Blasts let you send one-time email campaigns to a targeted group of contacts. Use this feature to announce promotions, share updates, or engage with specific segments of your client base.
When to Use Email Blasts
- Announcing new services or promotions.
- Sending newsletters or updates to your clients.
- Targeting specific segments with tailored messaging (e.g., trial leads, active members, or lapsed clients).
Step-by-Step Instructions
- From the left sidebar, click Blasts > New Email Blast.
- Select the email address you want to send from in the Location dropdown. If your email location is not set up, please contact support@healthdesk.ai.
- Select an Email Template or start from scratch using the drag-and-drop builder.
- Design your email: Add text, images, buttons, and personalization fields (e.g., first name).
- Review your blast using the Preview button (the "eye" icon) or send yourself a test email with the Send Test Email button at the bottom right.
- Click Save & Continue.
- Choose a Contact List or build a new one on the fly.
- Enter a Campaign Name and Subject Line.
- Choose to Send Now, Schedule, or save it as a Draft.
Pro Tip
You can target multiple lists in one blast. Healthdesk automatically removes duplicates and unsubscribed addresses before sending.

Q: How many emails can I send each month? A: On the Growth plan, you have 20,000 email sends included. Overage is $20 per additional 20,000 sends.
Q: Can I personalize emails with client details? A: Yes. Use merge fields like {{first_name}} or {{last_name}} to personalize your message.
Q: Can I schedule emails in advance? A: Yes. Select Schedule during setup and choose your date/time.
Q: Where do I see results? A: After sending, view analytics (sent, delivered, bounced, failed, opened) by clicking the campaign name from the Blasts page.
Q: Can I embed videos in the email? A: Yes, you can.
Q: Does my media save for future emails? A: Yes. Images and videos from past templates are saved and can be reused or modified in new blasts.
Q: Does Healthdesk automatically remove unsubscribed recipients? A: Yes. Unsubscribed recipients will fail to send the email.
